Hey guys first let me start off saying i love this machine. Had it for awhile now and couldn't be happier. This may be a stupid question but I'm thinking about upgrading the memory to 16gb and I'm not quite sure what to look for. I found this and was wondering if it would work http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231558

Any tips or suggestions on different memory would be appreciated too.

Thanks guys!

Is it worth it? Only if you are running out of memory on a normal basis. You'd notice a dramatic decrease in responsiveness in the system if you're running out of memory and the O/S begins paging information on your SSD. This happens if you have many tabs in a browser open, many intensive programs open, large video or photo editing projects going on, multiple virtual machines, or any combination of them or other memory consuming things going on. If that's happening, it is up to you whether it is worth it or not.

According to their website, the Z97x-sli mobo is compatible.  Strong  I figured it would be, but checked just to see what it said.

Good Luck. Big%20Smile
