I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but i'm having a annoyance at a *safely remove hardware and eject media* icon on my task bar. I just got the pc today and everything is fine but i was wondering how to get rid of that?

I do notice that when i open it, It show's all my devices but it also show's a usb reader that i don't have and never had on this pc.

Sometimes Windows can't distinguish between what's installed and not.   I would go into Device Manager, expand the categories and look for the device listed, then uninstall it.

You might be able to right click the notification in task bar and uninstall from there.

Yeah it was as simple as removing the usb reader
well now i feel stupid
