I'm looking for monitor opinions. I play WoWarships, WoT, WoW, Battlegrounds currently.

Money is not much of an issue up to around 900-1k. I don't need a monitor that expensive, but I'm throwing that number out to put a maximum for guild line purposes.

Thanks for replies in advance.

i suggest looking at monitors with I/O connectivity on the display port 1.4 standard to match with the new vid card dp 1.4 standard.  might as well take advantage of the bandwidth.  these are the newer monitors that feature faster native speeds and other features like HDR.

check TFTCentral for reviews and explanations on tech.  they also do a great job of comparisons between product offerings.

with a single high end vid card you might be able to reach for 4K but if you want to maximize your experience/settings you'll probably need to stay in the 2K/1440p monitor resolution space.  i'd also recommend choosing a monitor with fast "NATIVE" resolution speed and don't get sucked into the overclocked/overdrive marketing ploys.  maybe it's gotten better, but i've had issues with overclocked monitors in the past.  my current monitor has a native 144Hz refresh that can also be oc'd (which i don't use).
