My DS review

My budget gaming rig arrived two weeks ago.  I finally got around to posting pics and coming up with a short review.

This was a budget build for me.  I don't play very many games anymore and really didn't want to build a huge system.  This works great for what I need! 

I'm very happy with the system.  Forgive the terrible working area in the pictures.  I'm in a room with a/c to keep things cool for the summer, then I go back to my normal desk.  Right now, my mouse and keyboard are on TV trays!  I'm in Buffalo, and the summer heat will be gone soon, as early as next week, so there's no point in my lugging around desks. 

I did have one technical issue with the system.  The DVD drive would not open when I hit the button.  It appeared to be stuck.  I contacted support and the new drive arrived today.  It is installed and I am set.  I used an external drive temporarily, so not a big deal.  It must have gotten banged around during shipping.  DS support was very quick and helpful with getting this resolved. 

Due to a heat wave, I haven't had a ton of time on the new PC, but so far the system is amazing.  I ran out and bought Fear2 and COD4 and am having a blast.  I only played COD4 on 360 and I like the PC version much better (and I get 100+ fps)! 

Not much else to day, other than I'm very happy with the system and the entire process.  This was my first order with DS.  I will order again from Digital Storm without question when the time for an upgrade comes.  I build my own PC before this and for me going with DS was a much easier and better experience.  Having support and a warranty is well worth it for me.
