Oh, change the case lighting to red.

Now, Depending on what you want to do, you can always add liquid cooling... you could overclock... this is just a basic system that I personally would be very proud to have :)

If you could afford to.....definitely stretch for the liquid cooling.

You guys DO realize that watercooling is cooled by just as many fans as air cooling, right?

ok one more question, with liquid how well will the qx9650 overclock?

yes it can handle that, I watch 1000w psu handle dual processor systems

anyways, yes it can easily handle it, you can also drop down to the 260 card instead of the 280, you won't know much of a difference between the 2 when going dual.   Not that there is that much difference between them anyways. check the chart: (remember my setup has the 280 so if you want the 260 don't forget to change that )



ram speed does not make that much of a difference but you are overclocking your ram anyways.

regardless, your CPU is more powerful (qx9770) so you get a faster PC which OCs higher also and with liquid cooling you can go higher and stay stable

No problem, you have two directions you can go now, the system Kelly advised and the one I did.

we are both just making recommendations, you decide what you like, I hope that form both of us you got all the info you need to help you.

bTW if you got the budget you can always raise the ram to what kelly advised, nothing wrong with that.


feel free to go with higher speed ram if you like and don't care about teh extra money

its up to you, the qx9770 should clock faster, I'm not sure if it runs as hot as the qx9650.

its all upto you, the qx9770 is the highest you can go right now, the qx9650 is the step right below qx9770

If I were to purchase today I would go with qx9770 its worth it now and later to me. If you have the money its worth it IMO.

also at this level, if you choose to upgrade later to the 9770 then you will have paid lots more so you might as well go with 9770 now

widdlecat, everybody does not care or use their PC audio as much.

most mombo's now in days provide enough for regular people, now people like your self that are heavily into the sound ofcourse can appreciate a good card.
