Upgrade the power supply to at least the EVGA 850W, if not the Corsair 1000W unit.
I'd suggest the Strix 980 Ti GPUs for a high-end system like this. The jump from the 980 to 980 Ti is worth it and the Strix cards have good power delivery circuitry on them. I'd also recommend, if you can spare the money, water cool the GPUs. The Corsair 900D case the Hailstorm II uses (as well as Digital Storm's Aventum 3 case, which you should check out if you haven't already) are designed to support water cooling for all of the components in the system. And if you want a monoblock to handle the water cooling of you motherboard instead of separate components (if they even make some), you may want to change your motherboard to the Maximus VIII Hero. Those would be my recommendations. Looks good otherwise. |

If you'll be gaming on that single 1080p, no 4K in the future, a single 980ti Strix is all you need. Sli does give you future options though.
Looks good. |

Just a note on "Priority Build".
Unless you need a machine right now (Not "want", but "need") I wouldn't bother with it. Let DS have the time it needs to do everything right in its own pace. Yes, they'll do everything right with the Priority Build, too, but you never know. That's just me, though. Also, listen to these guys here... they're smart. |

Hi dgamer1298,
Welcome to the forum. You have built a very powerful system that isn't needed if you are going to stay with a 1080 monitor. If you want a 27" monitor with this system you need to move up to a 1440 resolution. You could operate a 1440 system with a single 980 or your dual 980s or with a single 980ti. According to what you want to accomplish. 4K monitors are getting better and if you see one in your future then the dual 980ti is a great choice. You have some very good suggestions from the other post. I think if you give us a little more information what you want to accomplish with your monitor, we can help you with a gangbuster system.
