Budget:
About $1,750

Request:
Please comment on the specs based on my comments - will this work, what have I left out, etc. ANY comments will be appreciated!

Comments:
First - I am NOT a gamer! I have played a game or two somewhere in my life I am sure, but this is low importance. Primary use is to build websites (WordPress), might play a game or two in the future).

To config the machine I am looking for I started with the Slade 2. The choices I made are based on my usage which is based on what I do now.

I have built my last three machines and they have all done quite well- current machine is five+ years old. This time I just want to simply order a prebuilt machine of good quality and not deal with the hassle of collecting parts, assembling and testing.

My THANKS for the help - Ken

Hi Ken9350...   If you don't plan on overclocking your cpu, save some money and opt for the 6700, non k.  I would up the cpu cooler to the stage 1.  The Intel base cooler can be loud and is designed to just make it.  The 6700K turbo's to 4.2 Ghz and the 6700 to 4.0.  Pretty close.

With money saved, I would drop the Seagate and get the Western Digital Black HDD.  Much better reliability and longer warranty.

For no sli and no gaming, the rest looks good to me.  Big%20Smile

Agree on the CPU - BUT I could not find the i7-6700 on the DS list of processors - called them and not available except as a 3.4GHz processor.
Agree on the cooler - not sure why I did not select it in the first place - but then that is why I posted this.
Changed to the WD Black based on some 'looking around'.

THANKS for the suggestions - Ken

P.S. new config code:      1417118

The i7-6700 is listed. The 3.4 ghz is the base clock, with 4.0 turbo, which is under load.   The k chip is 4.0 base and 4.2 turbo.
