Hello all,

I own a Bolt 3 and Control Center shows temps pretty normal for CPU Area/HDD Area/Exhaust/Fluid normally under 85f, but my GPU sits at 89f and boosts up to 110f when i play games in the matter of 10-15 min.

Also my Thermal Load is about 1/3 green, but my Chassis Airflow is full Green in the bar?

My CPU and GPU are liquid cooled.

Is this normal?

Most computer temps are measured in °C.. if you look at °F it's going give you pause.

So, your Bolt is running normally at 29°, but runs from 31° to 43° in a matter of minutes when gaming.

Yep. Seems about right where it needs to be. I'm sure the smarter folk will be along if I got anything wrong to chime in.

Yeah it's odd that DS measures temp by F and not C with their software (Control Center).

When i first got this rig the GPU was normally sitting under 80f (75-78f) when not playing games. I dont know why it starts up at 83f. I have it set on Extreme mode.

80-85F/26-29C is good for idle temps on the cpu, but should hit in the 130F/55C area while under decent load/intense gaming.

the gpu water cooling in my Aventum 3 is so good i never see temps rise over 30C/86F.  i don't know what hardware you're running, so i can't say how it should perform, but i don't see dangerous temps in your posted numbers.

sounds like your case fans are running at 100% (chassis airflow).  do you have the control center config'd to run on "auto" or "extreme"?  you can change the fan speed in the "fine-tune airflow" to suit your cooling and acoustic preferences.

I understand i'm not in "Overheat territory," but i was more concerned why the temp has gone up? Liquid levels look good and yes fans are running in extreme mode, so its blasting high. So confusing ...

have you removed the fans and cleaned off the dust?  i bet once you do that and blow out the rads and rest of the case you'll get better temps.

When you play games your graphics card draws more power and that power heats up the components in the graphics card. That means more heat output so the temperature rises. Normal graphics cards that are air cooled normally run anywhere from 150-185 degrees farenheit while gaming. So if you're running 110 farenheit I'd say you're doing pretty good.

Your temps are running great.

We actually changed to Celsius if I recall on our newer HydroLux orders since early this year.
