Is it hard to OC the ram from 2133 to 2666 and if so, does it matter what brand it is to do so? Thanks!

It's been a good while since I've messed with OC on ram, so I imagine that are way more knowledgeable people here than me that can comment, but from my experience I never had much issue tinkering with RAM when it came to brands, and I'd made comparable jumps in Mhz as what you are looking at. But again, last time I messed with RAM was in 2010 or so.

Hey... how's your Rig doing? Did you get a Titan X?

It is my understanding that your 2133 ram can be clocked to 2666 simply by going into Bios and selecting the XMP profile you want. Most ram in XMP has a few presets that have been tested to.

Both rigs are swell, no issues. And nope, no GPU upgrades for me yet. Still have the SLI 580s in Mr. Bojangles and the 780 Ti in Mrs. Bojingles. |

Yep, still game with those power gobblers. I've pretty consistently been at 1920x1200 for about 6 years now, settings tend to just vary from game to game. Beefier games I generally go down to Medium/Medium-High range, but a lot of games still run just fine at high at that resolution. |
