Maybe someone from DS can answer this.. I noticed today the promo going on where if you buy a system with certain Nvidia cards in October, you get to pick a free game. I didn't see this when I placed my order a few weeks ago.

For those of us that ordered qualifying systems in the last few weeks... systems that will not be shipped until well into October, do we also qualify for this offer?

I think I can probably answer that question since I asked myself last month. If I am not mistaken, you get the game that was offered when you ordered your system.

Jackbutler688 is correct.

The promotion is tied to NVIDIA graphics cards and the date of purchase.

My situation is a little different it sounds like.

I don't believe the free game was offered in late September when I ordered, but it was previously, and it is again now. That's the issue.

Asking if they can throw one in for people that have purchased qualifying systems under the October promotion that have not received their computers yet... since the machines are being built in October it would be fair to include the October 'freebie'. They could justify saying no and I'd be ok with that. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask though.

Edited to add: The machine they are building for me includes one of the qualifying Nvidia GPU's. No biggie either way.. when you're spending multiple K on a computer, it's silly to worry about a free game... I almost didn't even ask but figured I have nothing to lose by trying.

I can't answer for Alex or DS, but the games are from NVIDIA, not DS.

The challenge here is that there was a time period in which NVIDIA had no promotion, unfortunately your order was in that time range. Sorry.

I'd get the same answer from -----... it would probably just take an extra day or 3 for them to reply. Thanks for getting back to me so fast. Minor disappointment won't tarnish my image of your organization.

I entered my code at NVidia and it was expired. I emailed back to D.S. and the only reply I have in the last week was "all our MGS codes have expired". Its been over a week and no reply, am I just SOL for my free game?

NVIDIA extended the redemption deadline for Metal Gear to October 21st. Try your code again, everything should work now!
