Hello Digital Storm Community,

I've been wanting to type up a review of the PC that I ordered back on 11/7/2012 but as a college student, I have become very good at procrastinating. Plus, I wanted to use the PC for a while before I gave feedback.

I thought about ordering parts and building my own PC, but I was a bit nervous to do it for the first time. I shopped around for pre-builds on the web, and I came across Digital Storm. I thought some of the options here were overpriced and more for show, but there are also some machines that are not overpriced at all. In fact, the computer that I bought would have been slightly cheaper to build on my own, but not by much. It was a good price.

I know there is a way to type in your order # and it will bring up all the specs, but I'm not sure how to do that. Here are a few :

Processor: Inter Core i5 3570K 3.40 GHz (unlocked CPU)(Quad Core)
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LX (Intel Z77 Chipset)
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair Vengeance Series
Power Supply: 600W Corsair GS
Hard Drive: 1 TB Western Digital/Seagate/Hitachi/Samsung (7200 RPM)
Video Card: 1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB (Includes PhysX)
Cooling: AIR: Stage 1: Corsair A50 120mm Fan
CPU Boost: Stage 1: Overclock CPU 4.0GHz to 4.4GHz
Operating System: Windows 7

Initially, I thought that the cost of shipping was a bit high. I understood why they charge what they do when the delivery guy showed up with a gigantic box. It was very heavy and I needed my roommates help to move it into my room. I could tell Digital Storm really wanted the PC to arrive in perfect shape by the way they packaged it. I was pleased.

So when I got everything out of the box and set up, I had a bit of trouble getting a signal on my monitor. I had the HDMI going from the PC to the monitor, but the monitor was still showing a black screen. I called Digital Storm, and within 30 seconds I was talking to one of the techs. He asked me a question or two, and then told me that I had the HDMI cord in the wrong HDMI slot on the back of the PC. There was actually a 2nd HDMI slot that I had missed because it was covered with a rubber seal. I just took the seal off and problem solved.

This has been, hands down, the best PC that I have ever owned. I've been using it almost daily since I got it about a year and a half ago, and there has been no sign that it has slowed down. I consider myself a gamer, and I play demanding games like BF4 with no problems at all (even though we all know that Origin sucks).

I am going to post some pictures, but they way I have my computer set up, I can't quite see into the window without pulling the PC out and on to the floor.

Thanks for everything Digital Storm.
