Not sure if this is the right subforum for this but just finished my build and paid tonight. Super excited and cant wait to see the updates on the build.

Only one GPU was in the budget so hopefully when the time is right it wont be an issue adding another one to the loop. Does anyone have any info on this, can it be done? Congratulations and welcome to DS. That is a very nice system. You will want to recruit some friends for when it is delivered. It is huge and heavy.
Adding another card is definitely doable with some patience and ability. The Hydrolux PRO is configured for such upgrades. Keep us posted as to the progress of the build and we do like reviews and pictures. Enjoy. |

Thanks hoserator and bprat22. Thats great news. Thats a big reason why I wanted to go with this build was the ability to upgrade. Just wanted to double check that adding another GPU to the loop wasn't going to be an issue. Hopefully they can jump on it, wife and kid are going to be gone next month for two weeks so Id have some prime gaming time haha. Will post updates and a review. i don't know, but based on their proposed fix, i got the impression that all current machines in for repairs, and possibly existing orders, wouldn't even have the manifold built into them. they're just using acrylic tubing. i can't believe that they'd hold up the congo line for another week, but if it matters to you i'd call them about it (if you can get thru). perhaps Alex can clarify???

The acrylic distribution block that's slated to arrive in 1 week still needs to pass our in-house validation testing (pressure and drop testing). The only thing that has changed is we have made it thicker.
I'll be honest, many customers have switched to our new hardline distribution system (see image below) as it has a more bespoke look and makes it easier for customers to service. Plus this has no waiting time, we can begin working on and shipping your order with this. We're considering moving away from the acrylic block down the road and continuing with this type of system. Feel free to let me or Kimberly, our Customer Service Manager know ([email protected]). |

The acrylic tubing on the back end in place of the dist block at least wouldn't have the disadvantages of acrylic up front, namely, hard to service and work on. Might be the way to go, imho.

Thanks Alex, ill send the email right now.
Going with the hardline in the back will I still be able to add a second GPU to the loop without too much of a issue? |

The QDs are on the mobo side so you will never have to touch those fittings unless they leak. I like the hardline, you can get creative on how it lays (any time you play with the wires behind the tubing you will have to be very careful) and not be restricted to the manifold.

Thanks guys.
So flexible on the MB side and Hardline on the back side instead of manifold. Hopefully they get my email in time haha |

Yeah my Hailstorm II(corsair 900D) isn't much smaller and the box was definitely a two man carry. I can move the PC itself around, but it isn't very fun or light lol. |
