I plan on buying a very high end system from DS in the near future.

I also am interested in 3way sli for the GTX 780 Ti

If I got three (3) asus rog swift pg278q 1440p 120hz g-sync gaming monitors , to make a triple monitor setup, would 3 780ti's be enough to handle it? They are 120hz monitors so i'd like to get 120fps solidly out of them. Would 4way sli help or?

Thanks,

Spencer

Unfortunately, even 4x 780Ti's can't handle 3x 1440P monitors on Ultra to get 120+FPS.

Here is a benchmark we did.

Of course, you could turn off Anti-Aliasing and lower settings from Ultra and get better FPS.

understandable, thanks Nav.

More questions :) For a single of the Rog Swift 1440p 120hz gsync monitors, would 2 780ti's get the 120hz or would I even need 3? example game BF4, on max settings.

You would need three or even four if you wanted to get around 120 fps according to our benchmarks.

Keep in mind that our cards were over clocked.

If you lowered aliasing to 2x you could likely achieve 120fps.

Why is it that there is such a big difference between single card and sli as compared to sli and 3 way sli. not sure if another card is worth 8fps more :/

It's the way the games are coded. Some are coded to better handle SLI while others are not coded as well. Its unfortunate...
