    Posted: 26 Feb 2010 at 6:42pm

I ordered my Digital Storm (DS) pc on 11/18/2009 from speaking with Sarah via phone. The entire conversation was less than 20 minutes since I had already written down every component I wanted (I didn't have access to a computer so I had to use my PS3). I was really excited placing my first gaming computer !! I was really fed up of having to use my 250w, 6 year old computer which I couldn't play any of the latest games, so when it broke, you can imagine how my face lit up. Prior to sealing the deal with DS, I did a lot of research over other gaming companies like Dell, HP, Alienware, CyberPower, iBuyPower, AVA Direct, Falcon Northwest, Velocity Micro, and etc. I was considering CyberPower as it's been the choice of many gamers, but I went the extra step by reading third-party review sites and well, the complaints of systems not working out-of-the-box, missing/incorrect components, and less than satisfied customer service made me to stay clear. Falcon Northwest and Velocity Micro seemed to be the winners for me, but they were too expensive. Finally, I visited iBuyPower and without going into much detail, I was going to order from them, but the customer service over the phone was not to my liking (I felt like the person over the phone wasn't knowledgable by her tone). I was going insane by this time from no-luck over a month's research when voila, DS showed up !! I knew they were the "One" because their BBB rating was, and still is, excellent and by far better than their competitors. In addition, the forum was really what caught my eyes !! It has DS and DS customers getting very involved, and if I was to have any questions or comments, I would get respectful, honest responses out of it.

Anyway, if you're searching for the perfect gaming pc with great customer-company relation and with high-performance materials/components being installed into every and each pc, Digital Storm is the "X" marked on the treasure map !! Everything is running flawlessly (a few rare freezes, but it's rare) and amazingly fast !! When it's time for a new pc again, you know where to find me !! >,<

I will be uploading photos soon. By the way if you're asking why the nVidia GTX 295, at the time I couldn't locate the ATI 5870 as it was nearly impossible and I didn't have the patience to wait for the Fermi's debut (not even released yet as I'm writing this). I didn't want to SLI also. Hence the selected GPU ^,<

Very nice system!! How do you like the EVGA GTX 295 Co-oP?? I have that same GPU in my rig also! I love my EVGA GTX 295 Co-oP Edition ...... It really upsets me that they don't make em any more cuz I was planning on going quad SLI with them when I get my new DS (one day) and don't really like buying used stuff that much.

Thanks LordFess (I'm the same person just a different name). The card's working flawlessly to this day. I haven't oc'd anything except up the fan speed due to hot weather here. Under load it never reaches beyond 85C, an ex. was when running Starcraft 2. I adjusted the fan to 90% and it stayed around 65C - 75C.

Other than this in SC2, the card's running smoothly in all the games I tried (Crysis, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, Torchwood, Modern Warfare 2, Left4Dead 2, Aion, and Fallout 3). I don't plan on upgrading just yet.
