I don't have any idea how much I would benefit from overclocking or how many fans I'd need/what type of fans. I've used a lot of information I've received from a friend to configure this build.

Hi Auramyst..... The config looks good.    Nice job.

If you can spend a few more dollars, change the power supply to the other 750 watt for extra $34 , swap the SSD to a Samsung 850 and the HDD to a Western Digital Black 1 TB. These are better efficiency, excellent reliability and longer warranty. The default picks are very good if you can't.

The rest looks great. Overclocking will give a a few percentage point bump in some games but not as huge as it once was with new multi core enhancement.   I would overclock, but up to you.   Not a deal breaker.

Hope this helps.

Good lord, how expensive! This better last me at least 10-15 years.

EDIT: Would this be a better value? #1376029

The Vanquish is best bang for your buck.    It doesn't allow a different motherboard, psu selection, but it will game at the same performance as the other build for lots less money. I would still change the SDD and HDD if budget allows, but what they give you is good.

For those that don't want to sell their car for a gaming rig , lol, the Vanquish works.

Good luck.

Hmm... If I were to overclock the GPU, would I need to overclock the CPU or is 4.0ghz enough?
