Hi I am new to PC gaming and I am thinking about ordering the Vanquish 5 level one. Since I have only played console games my whole life I just want to know if i would have to put the parts together or is the PC ready to go out of the box.
Thanks! |

You'll have to get in there and make sure everything is tight and seated after shipping... but other than that, it's pretty much plug in the keyboard, plug in the mouse, get the monitor up and running and there you go...

Awesome. Also I'm looking into streaming to twitch this PC is capable of doing that right? And do you know if I will need a wifi adapter because and Ethernet cable wouldn't be an option.

The Vanquish doesn't have WIFI built into the motherboard, so, yes, you'll need an internal card or USB WIFI adapter.

Vanquish is the base line you can't pick and chose what you want for example a mobo that has wifi ability, so instead with vanquish you will have to buy a wifi card which is not a big deal.
but you need to understand that your gaming experience and settings depend on your res and what gpu you get. what is the resolution of the monitor you are going to be gaming with? |

I'm thinking of getting that monitor. I'm not sure if it's good or not honestly. |

have a look here and understand what you are looking at before you buy.
start with panel type, Resolution, Response Time and Viewing Angles, after you get those look at the others. Of course budget dictates |

Please have a look and once you figured out what you want and budget allows then let me know, otherwise you will not get the best bang for your buck |

I don't want to go over 130. So I'm assuming the monitor I was thinking about wasn't that good?

Your budget limits you. See if you can find a ips panel for your price range otherwise after looking at the info at tftcentral get the best monitor you can for your price range, I have been away and have not caught up on all monitors so I can't really help direct you to one.
I'm just not sure for that price range it might be a good monitor. Edited by DST4ME - 18 Sep 2016 at 1:07pm |

Streaming you mean just media and etc right? if so then yes but if you want to game and etc then I would go minimum 6600k with oc stage 1. maybe litte more ram.
if you want your pc to stay powerful over the years go for a better cpu. Edited by DST4ME - 18 Sep 2016 at 1:57pm |

Your cpu and upload speeds are the most important from little I know of it.
but for gaming you would need to know the res and then you would know the kind of gpu power needed to run that res. Edited by DST4ME - 18 Sep 2016 at 9:59pm |
