So i've had my laptop for less than a week and i finally loaded one of the games i play offline because i am stuck on a ship for duty and underways. anyways on my former laptop i run an old gtx 460m 8 gigs of ram but i was still able to run the game on max settings.
This one i load up and start playing the game and i benchmark it i was pulling barely 10 fps. The game is nba2k13 i am starting to test other games as well. |

My guess would be drivers.
It should play it just fine. Also is the laptop plugged into power? Newer Nvidia cards use OPTIMUS which quite frankly.. sucks on battery. |

Yep, I believe on battery the integrated graphics only is used and the card is disabled, but not 100%.

Correct. To the point, in some cases, a restart is required to return to dedicated GPU performance. |
