Hi there, I am setting up this computer and I want to know if the cooler I am choosing can be enough to keep an i7 6 core processor cool even if over clocked.

So could it work? can you over clock that processor and still get safe temperatures using that cooler I posted, if not would the cooler be enough without over clocking the processor.

Hi davealej,

The cooler you posted will work with a mild OC.

Here is a link that compares the H60 and H80 coolers.

By mild overclock you would be referring to lets say 10% maybe.

Where could I find some good guides on overclocking this specific processor, any links you guys might already know.
