Topic: Question about Krypton and keyboard backlighting Posted: 11 Jan 2014 at 7:05pm |
I'm thinking of buying a Krypton laptop. I have a question. The description doesn't mention (unless I missed it) if you can change the color of the backlighting of the keyboard to something besides the blue.I would like to change the color to red if possible.
I'd appreciate any help. Thank you |

Hi devilman72.... Welcome to the forums.
I believe the Krypton is the Sager NP8295 model. If so, then here's what their site specifies.... Color Programmable Illuminated Keyboard Make your NP8295 a stylish focal point with the full color programmable backlit keyboard. Choose from 7 instant effects or customize your own color combinations in 3 different keyboard sections with the Keyboard Backlight Application. Here's their website..... http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_info&model_name=NP8295 Double check with DS but I think that's it. Good luck. |

Thank you on welcoming me and answering my question. I'm partially color blind and if the keyboard would be a color that I have a hard time seeing it leads to awful headaches.
I do have another question do you happen to know what model the ds behemoth is? I'm trying to decide between the Krypton and behemoth & am curious which one has a subwoofer and if it would make a big difference or not. Thanks again. |

The Behemoth I believe is the Sager NP 9390 laptop. By looking at More Info under the Chassis Model in config, they both mention the built-in Onkyo sub-woofer.
I never spent a lot of time with laptops, so not sure that's the sub woofer you want. Good Luck. |
