Hello fellow Digital Storm members. I recently bought the Vanquish 5 "Best". I must say it is a (excuse my french) a f**king beast. It can run Witcher 3 on smooth, ultra settings. I have a question though, can I add more ramen to this computer? I am a big noob and this will sound stupid but I looked at the ram sticks and there are 4 sticks I can see and I don't see more space. Help plzz I wanna add more rammen to this beast

Why do you want to add more ram?

Yes you can add more ram, most likely and best way would be to replace the sticks you have with higher amount ram.

but why do you think you need more ram?

I have the older Vanquish 2 model with the MicroATX mobo.. only has 2 slots. When I upgraded my RAM from 8GB to 16GB it was a straight replacement.

They come in matched pairs.

There is a mistaken belief that more ram means more performance , period. Nope, for gaming, 16gb is it, the rest just sits there whistling.   Windows might cache whatever is there, showing usage, but it's not a performance thing.

Productivity apps is a different story.

More ram is not gonna do nothing for you, why don't you post your specs and lets see if there is anything worth upgrading.

you should be able to put a 1080 in there

Yes.    What's your gaming monitors resolution ?   The 970 maxes a 1920x1080 for most games.   The 1080 is for higher res .
