Hi sandal704...Welcome to the forums.

That's a nice rig you put together, but I would make suggestions.Big%20Smile

Dropping the 680's for the 670's is a good move.  They perform almost the same and will save alot of $$$.

For the best power supply, change to the 1050HX.  It is tops and the 7 year warranty tells of its quality.

Drop the performance fans. All they do is mess with the HafX's great airflow and would be noisier.

Drop the temp control/fan control.  It's good for looks but in function the temps aren't accurate and the HafX fans don't need the fan control.  It's fans are quiet and already turn at only 700rpm and move lots of air.

You could go with Win7 Pro.  It allows you to add more ram above the 16GB if you needed it.

Drop the UV lighting and Red tubing.  Those are for true water cooling like stage 4 and above.  The 240mm cooling picked is a sealed unit, like the Corsair H100, and the tubes aren't swappable and the unit requires no maintenance.

Here's the build with the changes.

Config # 692822   Cost $ 4965

The big concern is running a triple 3D monitor setup.  That takes alot of graphics power.   You might only be able to play certain games like BF 3, etc on medium settings.  To play games on higher settings a tri-sli, 3x 670 setup might be required.  It all depends on what you play and what settings will make you happy.

Each monitor is 1920x1080 and they each need to render the images twice.  That's what 3D does for the effect.

Check it out and see if it fits what you like.

Good Luck.Big%20SmileBig%20Smile

Hi sandal704,

As always, bprat22 has given you a good build. Here are a few comments for your consideration.

If you have never played or seen a 3D surround system you should check one out. It sounds really cool but not a good way to game in my opinion. The problem is all the real estate you have in front of you. Consider that you have your cursor on the left side of the 1st screen and you have a threat from the far right side of the 3rd screen. That is a long way to move your cursor.

Take a look at the Nvidia Forums and see all the problems people are having trying to make it work with various configurations of GPUs. From what I understand you need all of your monitors feeding from a DVI connector so that means at least two GPUs. With a resolution of 5760 your choice of the 680s may be a wise choice. The 670s is the cheapest way for sure but you might need every FPS you can get. Remember that with 3D your FPS will be half of 2D. With SLI 670 you might want to size your PS so you can add a third card down the road.

You might consider changing the Mobo to the Deluxe. It comes with wireless and Blue Tooth built in.

Frank
