I just got a DS PC with Windows 8.1 and I installed Dawn of War 1 with Soulstorm expansion and tried playing it but got an error message saying "required security module cannot be activated." I think it is a problem with Securom. Yes I have a retail version of the game and the CD is in my drive.

Its funny, beecause Dawn of War worked fine on my laptop with Windows 7. I dont know if the software that came bundled withe the PC has anything to do with it, because I installed some of the SSD software and was playing around with it. I heard that if Securom detects certain kinds of software on your computer then it wont let you play the game.

Would it have something to do with Windows 8?
