Seeking new Video Card Recommendations and Advice

   Budget: $1000

Expectations:

[144 FPS @ 1080p games]

Usage:

[Gaming]

Purchased this system back in 2009.  Specs in Signature.  All I've done is upgraded the Video cards over time and added 2 each Samsung 500GB SSDs in RAID0.

I currently have a Corsair 1000W HX Power Supply which according to the specs I cna find states it is able to support 12V1@40amps and 12v2@40amps.  

Knowing these specs, I believe I can determine that the overall wattage (Power) this Power Supply can pull is (P=IxE) 480 Watts on each 12V line.

The Video card I was looking at was the Geforce GTX1070 which requires 150Watts of power draw.  I think I'm good on that front.

As I look closer, I now realize that my Motherboard only supports PCIe 2.0 and the Video Card is capable of PCIe 3.0.

So it may be time for a system upgrade.  

At least the MB, Video Cards.  Thoughts?

	Drop the 1070 in the system, you should be fine, if its not good then upgrade the mobo.
