Thanks for the feedback. It was difficult for me to pick a case between this (450d), the 760T, and the Air540. It was the aesthetics, size, and air filters that won me over in the end.

Those cases are tough choices. Whenever I pretend-build , I always go with the Air 540 but then wander to the 760T and Velox. I have recommended the Coridium a number of times because it is a nice airflow case.
I do miss cases with the side panel fan cutouts like your HafX and my 600T. It's a good option if heat becomes an issue in the future. They all work. Son of a gun....Just noticed that the HafX is back as an option. Edited by bprat22 - 24 Feb 2015 at 9:51am |

Yes, I also noticed the HAF X is back - such a great case.
I hope I don't regret not getting the AIR 540 - and could have gotten the extended motherboard also (not that I "need" it). But I really like the top/bottom/front filters on the 450d. Even though I think my PC is in a reasonably dust-free environment, it seems I still blow a lot of dust out. And I plan on taking the cage out of the case entirely. so the airflow should be very clean. Edited by Gnicky - 24 Feb 2015 at 1:25pm |

Air 540. We've been having a good discussion with Dax on another thread. Under General Discussion.

Thanks for the feedback, I thought I might me a little less excited this time, but no luck - checking every 30 minutes for a build status change.

Case choices are always hard for me to make... Room, looks airflow all factors to take in.. I decided to go with the Velox and for a mainly air cooled system with the fan upgrade it is a good choice.
However if you are in a very dusty or dirty environment it may not be ideal :P I will know more if it passes the true test of a good case for me, whether it can handle Texas Summer heat and still keep things cool. If it has problems I will be sending the entire system back to DS to have a full Water Cool system installed an expense I hope to not have to do. Nice build, I also went with the Rampage MOBO and am totally satisfied. Edited by Kaelara - 27 Feb 2015 at 8:57pm |

Both are great cases. You folks should be pretty happy with your choices! You'll have to report back and let us know.
