Hello i just bought the VANQUISH 3 LVL 4 , the pc im using now only has 2 upgrades that i have done a power supply which is tr2 600wat and a nvidia Geforce 550ti, i was wondering if i should put the 550ti into the new pc im getting, i was wondering if it would like help it a little or have any effect, also for the power supply what should i do with that.

Nope. Don't put it in there. I mean, I guess you could and use it as a physx card... but really no point.

Keep them both and use them as a media server? Give to a friend. Sell...

whats a physx card and will it really have no impact on the pc

For games that were developed for NVIDIA cards, there are sometimes hardware accelerated physics calculations (like walls falling apart or things blowing in the wind). The technology, called Physx, goes back to a company that NVIDIA acquired some time back and incorporated it into their GPUs.

With multi-GPU set-ups, NVIDIA SLI does not support heterogeneous GPU configurations, meaning you need the same type of GPU to work. However, you can use a different GPU to do stuff like offloading of the Physx calculations, so the card rending the video on the screen has less things to do otherwise. But, the GTX 970 dramatically out-performs the 550Ti you have, so dealing with that set-up is more of a pain and will consume a good deal more power.
