Hey guys since Christmas is coming up i might have enough money at the end of the holiday for a second GTX 970 GPU but instead i could buy a core i7

Which should I buy

I currently have a core i5 4690k and a EVGA GTX 970 sc

Unless you need the hyperthreading of the i7 there's really no benefit.   No performance increase in gaming or very little.

Sli 970 will give you a boost in frames , depending on your monitor resolution and in game settings.

If your frames are slowing then sli for sure.
