Sound issue

Sup dudes. I purchased a computer about 2 months ago and I am having a problem with the sound. The only way I can here sound from my PC is if I plug in headphones into the computer itself. Other than that it doesn't make a sound. This is increasdibly annoying and I am not sure if there is a problem with the computer or somewhere in the settings something needs to be turned on or whatever. I am stumped on how to fix this so any advice would be very helpful.

The computer doesn't make any sound unless you use headphones or speakers or HDMI cable from the video card to the monitor with speakers.

Not sure that's what you mean, you didn't give many details.

Yes, buy a set of speakers and plug them into the audio jacks on the back of the computer. Your motherboard manual that came with the system can help.

What system did you get ?

Yes, computers will not (generally) have any internal speaker system. They used to, but not anymore, to my knowledge.

Lol yeah I was coming from console so I was confused about the no sound thing and would you recommend any speakers?

I actually prefer headphones because of unilateral hearing loss. Most speakers all sound like just noise to me. Besides, for me to use speakers the volume will have to be so high that the rest of the house will be disturbed.

Depends how much money you want to spend.   My son got the Logitech S120 you see in the configurstor with his Vanquish.   They are entry level but work just fine.
