I am planning on placing an order with DS this evening or tomorrow after having spent much time reviewing possible companies to build for me. The low prices at CyberPower certainly got my attention but after much consideration and reviewing the many horror stories posted at their forum I have forgot about them. The added one year of warranty for the fourth sale has made me to decide to "pull the trigger" at DS. I also like the idea of being able to sleep at night while I wait for it to arrive! I am interested in gaming (particularly flight sims), some graphics editing, music production and some web site developing. I am trying to build a strong base of quality components, reliability, and performance. My budget is between $2500 and $2750.

1.) Since I know it is easy to OC the 3770K with the Asus Sabertooth MB could I save the $69 DS charges and do it myself and not void the warranty?
2.) I do not want to go "whole hog" right now and spend the added money to SLI but still want rocking FPS. Would it be advisable to go with a single GTX680 (for better FPS than the 670) or one GTX 670 now and wait for the price to get better in the future for another 670 in order to SLI them? I might like to use multiple screens for my flight sims at some point.

Here is my order configuration #704348
I will be installing a 1TB data drive I can purchase from Fry's for $90.

Hey, it sounds like you want the same things as me.  I do music production, flight sim enthusiast, gamer...

I haven't gotten this computer yet...but everytime I look at this build I get that warm and fuzzy feeling and I've vetted it with this forum's elite crowd.

The geforce 670 is just about equal in strength with the 680.  In the future if you want to add another GPU you can do so easily.

Also really consider the Noctua.  It's won a bunch of awards, it's quiet...and you don't have to worry about liquid cooling maintanence.  Lastly unless you are computer savy I would let DS do the overclocking...

Good Luck

Hi dallas11..... Welcome to the forums.    That is a real nice build.       I believe, and you would have to check with DS, that oc' ing yourself might void some warranty.      My only suggestion would be to change the gtx680 for sli 670 for another $200 and get great gaming right up front.     You didn't mention monitor or resolution, but a 23" at 1920x1080 will allow max gaming with sli.    A single 670 now will save you $250 I believe and it performs very close to the 680.   For tops in reliability consider the Noctua D14 cpu cooler.    Not much to go wrong with a big block of cooling fins.      Good luck and keep us updated.        belaflek73 beat me to it.
