So it looks like its time to get a new computer for my home gaming ! I
was gifted a brand new GTX 1080 so I wont need to have one included in
the build and I will NEVER go SLI again. It will spend its life in my
home office which is 72 degrees exactly year round. I was on the fence
and almost Ordered a Aura last month and decided against the all in one
system so I do not want that type. That being said I'm open to any other
system and I'm ready to order ASAP I keep having people load the map
before me in BF1 and get my vehicles !!!
1. Your Budget: 3,000 can spend few hundred more if needed. 2. Expectations: Run all games at max with my 27" 2k (2560 x 1440) 3. Usage: Gaming BF1 mostly, other than some web browsing, work email etc. 4. Special Needs: I am very interested in the M.2 1 TB 960 Pro, although I have yet to speak with anyone that has used it, so if anyone has some opinions I'm all ears Edited by Sgt.Moore - 25 Nov 2016 at 12:35pm |

Hi Sgt. Moore...been awhile.
For gaming and your needs there's nothing to be gained going with the 6 and 8 core Broadwell-E cpus. The Skylake 6700k with Z170 boards in the Bolt level 3 is the better pick. They have faster single core and bench faster in gaming. Best bang for the buck, start with level 3 and make your selections. The m.2 SSD are a lot faster than SATA based drives. The Pcie interface doesn't have the SATA restrictions. Both are fast enough but m.2 rule. Good luck. Edited by bprat22 - 25 Nov 2016 at 4:11pm |
