Hi gang,
I have been out of the loop for a while and just got back on my computer.  In the process of gearing up for winter here in the north east (PA)...kinda like a squirrel hoarding nuts... and a lot more time on the computer, I was wondering if anyone knew what video drivers are the best to use for the now outdated EVGA 8800 GTX 768 MB cards ( I am running SLI).  I am currently using 7.15.11.7516. on my 780i XFX motherboard w/ 4 GB ram on a vista 64 ultimate.

Any thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciatedOuch

While those drivers are WHQL, I like to keep up to date and try out the various beta drivers, which can also be found on nvidia's site.  Also, Guru3d has the 177.98's which I am using right now that seem to work the best for me.

The safest bet, however, is to just use the drivers from your manufacturer's website or nvidia's WHQL as posted above.

I have heard there are issues with some of the new drivers because they now added the physX package.  Sometimes they load properly and sometimes they screw up depending how you load them with this add on.  Is this an issue?
