Hello guys,
I got question about upgrading to windows 10. I am using Windows 7 that came with the Digital Storm computer. The windows 7 sticker on my case says OEM software. Will I be able to use this Windows 7 license and disc on a completely different computer since it will no longer be used? Or is it tied to the original computer/motherboard only? The reason is I have an old Windows Vista computer that I wish to install windows 7 since I am planning on upgrading the digital storm computer to windows 10 and am wondering if I can put that copy to use on that old Vista computer. I believe Win 10 uses that license from Win 7 and it is no longer valid for Win 7 unless you downgrade back to 7 on your Win 10 computer.
So you would not be able to move it and use it on another system. |

OEM is tied to the motherboard so you can't use it on another PC.
