Vanquish 3 as HTPC?

Hi,

Im looking for an HTPC that can play MKV's with Madvr.  My current (Asus) PC can handle it but the fan noise at load is off the charts.

Wondering how loud (at load) the Vanquish 3 is.  I sit about 3 feet away from my desktop.

Hi stevegee,

Computer noise is an intangible thing. It is based on personal opinion. I think my computer is very quite but I can hear it from three feet away. When I am gaming it sets right next to me and I never hear it in a game. Unless you hear a Vanquish you won't know if it is acceptable or not. I suggest if you want quiet then you should look at the Slade. It would be a good choice for low noise. But, quiet cost money.
