Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I'm a noob who has some question about this pre-built pc.
1) I see the CPU comes overclocked, but what about the GPU? Is there an option for that (I don't see it) or will I have to do that myself? 2) If I understand correctly, DS will use whatever GPU brand they deem fit, correct? 3) If I get another 970 down the road for SLI, will I have to get the same model 970 to match the one DS used? 4) From what I gather, the 750W power supply that comes with this pc should be able to handle another 970. Is this correct? 5) Besides the power supply, is there anything else I need to consider if I chose the go SLI in the future (like mobo, case fitment, etc)? Thanks a lot! :) |

Hi Blobby1.... Welcome to the forums.
1..the Vanquish are prebuilt so no changes but you can always do jt yourself with a,little research. Programs like EVGA PRECISION or MSI AFTERBURNER are great. 2..Correct 3..You can use any model when you go sli. If you have an un overclocked and add an overclocked 970, sli will use the un overclocked speed for both. 4..the 750watt psu will handle sli 970. 5..The level 4 can sli just by adding another card. Everything else should be good to go. Hope this helps and good luck. I can't open level 3 or 4 on my tablet, so I can't double check the mobo being sli capable. DS does change things pretty regular so just check it to be sure. Last I looked, the mobo was sli. Edited by bprat22 - 22 May 2015 at 2:34am |

Hi Blobby1,
I just wanted to help out bprat22. Yes, both the level 3 & 4 have a SLI mother board according to the build sheet. The build sheet states that it will be a Asus or Gigabyte motherboard with SLI. Frank |
