Hi Guys!

New, and very thrilled.

I placed my order on July 27 and am currently waiting. Can’t wait to receive my order.

System Configuration:
Chassis Model: Special Deal Hot Seller - Pre-built Digital Storm VANQUISH 3 - Level 4
Display: Asus 4K Ultra HD 28 inch PB287Q Series (3840 x 2160 Resolution) (Black) (1ms 10-bit)
Speakers: Corsair Vengeance 2100 Wireless Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset
Keyboard: CM Storm Devastator Bundle (Blue LED Edition) (Gaming Keyboard & Gaming Mouse)

I’m a bit nervous for the following reasons:

1. This is my first TRUE gaming PC and I don’t know how fast this thing will be. Like I’ve seen the stats, reviews, and all, but experiencing it first hand - that I don’t know. My 2012 iMac gave up two weeks ago so I opted to get a gaming PC this time :)

2. Don’t know what to expect with the shipping since I’ve heard horror stories of UPS and Fedex manhandling packages. I live in Long Beach, CA so I’m hoping it's not so bad. Not that that makes a difference on their shipment handling ha ha. However, I’ve read through reviews here that DS does an exceptional job with protecting the goods before shipping.


Yesterday I received an update from Technician Aristeo stating that my order passed the Stage 7 QA check.

Have not received an update today so I sent in an internal email to follow up on status so far.


I am so excited that I’ve given a heads up to my Manager on a possible day off just so I could be home when my shipment arrives.

Waiting is sooo not cool right now. However I am happy.

Congrats on the machine. Figure a 3-4 day shipping time to Long Beach from Fremont, maybe even sooner.

Oh.. and prepare to be amazed!

Welcome to the DS family. You bought a very good computer for your money. You will be pushing its performance with 4k resolution. It is according to what games you play.

Anecdotally, it seems like DS has developed quite the gateway drug with the Vanquish 3 level 4. I've seen 3 "new member" posts this week referencing that machine -- mine included!

Welcome aboard, Raya! I grew up a console kid so I'm still gaming at 1080p (23 inch ACER H236HL bid glossy monitor). Someday I might try 1440, but 4K is a way off for me.

Yes, thrilled to personally see how this GPU/4K combination will go.

I’m an avid Second Life resident (since 2009) and am literally inworld everyday. And, since the download link for MGS V was sent to me the other day, looking forward to venture that game as well.

Prior to receiving that link, I never had any knowledge about Metal Gear Solid. I went on the official site and learned about their history and game play. Would not be surprised if I get hooked.
