Was just wondering if it's a good idea to overclock the gpu on a vanquish 3 Level 1.
I didn't get it yet, it should come tomorrow though, and I'm talking about the default config. As stated above I have a Level 1, would it be recommended to overclock and would I see a noticeable improvement in frames without overheating?

Thanks!

Hi dashingdrew..... The level 1 isn't a good candidate for overclocking.   The chip, mobo and the stock cooler wouldn't give you much.

Enjoy the Vanquish when it arrives.

Not to mention that it doesn't have an unlocked multiplier as you get in the "K" processors.  The only "overclocking" you can do is tweak the baseclock a couple MHz or try to push the memory if you really wanted to, but that won't give you much of performance lift at all.

I know I don't have a K series processor... That's why i specifically said gpu in my original post when I asked the question.

Oh, missed the GPU part...you can push it a little.  It won't hurt if you aren't going beyond the limits in the tweaking tools.

I missed the gpu mention, also. Sorry about that.
