I bought a Vanquish 5 a few months ago. It has ran perfect up until today. I turned it on, proceeded to play 3 games of h1 KOTK. Then my PC suddenly shut off while i was playing. Now the tower wont turn on at all. I've done the basics, flipping power switch on back, plugging unplugging cord, plugging straight into wall outlet. What should I do?

Sorry to hear, and I hate to say, but it sounds like your power supply died.

Just the obvious....there is power at the wall outlet and not a breaker tripped ?

I would open the side panel and check all the wires going to the motherboard.   There is the 24 pin, 6/8 pin above CPU and the small wires going to bottom corner of motherboard that come from front panel power on switch.

Remove the video card and try it.

One simple trick to try... Some call it draining flea power. Basically, unplug the machine and hold the desktop power button down for 30 seconds. This will completely drain power from any capacitors on the system board. Then plug it back in, make sure the power supply switch is on and try again. May be a true hardware issue, but it is a quick and simple process to try this.

Good to hear the fix is in the mail.

Not sure your psu is semi modular, but if so, you might get away with just pulling out the 24 pin and 6 pin from mobo, and the others just unplug from the supply.   Makes life easier.
