Moving over to pc to game but don’t know much about the components . I was just wondering how well the vanquish 7 level 1 would run games such as Overwatch, Warframe and games like that

Building a pc is kinda like racing cars. Before you know what kinda car to bring you need to know what type of race, is it Nascar, ist f1? Is it drag racing? Each requires a different type of race car.

Your use is the type of race, folding at home pc is different from autodesk pc and both of those are different from gaming pc.

For gaming the native resolution or your monitor is the race. A pc for 1080p is a bit different from a pc for 4k.(depending on the game)

How it works is first we figure out what is the native resolution of your monitor, second we figure out what types of games. Once we know those 2 we can figure out what kinda graphic power (video card/gpu) you need to max that game in that resolution. Once we know the gpu we need that will help us figure out what power supply (psu) and what motherboard (mobo) we need.

From there its easy, for gaming a good quad core cpu (processor), 8 to 16 gb of ram, a good ssd and we are done.

So in short what is the native resolution of the monitor you gonna be using?

for games like Overwatch a 1060 would be in the 100s fps.

For games like overwatch at 1080p (1920x1080) 1060 will do great I have seen people report over 100 fps. at 1080p with 1060.

keep in mind if your monitor is 60hz then most you can see is 60 fps

I have the gtx 1060 and it runs great for me personally(also have the i7 7700k @ turbo boost). I can play Arma 3 at roughly 75 FPS in single player mode. Though, Arma is CPU intensive.

Here's a link to some of my specs if you're interested: http://www.digitalstorm.com/forums/apollo-review-batman34-tidf30078/

Sorry, made a little mistake with my post...I have a gtx 1070, not gtx 1060. Hope this didn't mislead you.
