Vanquish Case

Greetings! I'm new to the forum. I placed an order on the Vanquish 4 level 4 on 23rd and now it's in stage 1. I read on the forum today that the original grey case with side window is not currently available. However, when I ordered it two days ago, the website showed the image with grey case and side window, and I was not informed that the original case was not available.

My system configuration reads "Chassis Model: Special Deal Hot Seller - Pre-built Digital Storm VANQUISH 4 - Level 4 - (Black Color)"

So, it looks like I am going to get the black case without side window?

They haven't had the grey case with window for a couple of weeks. My guess is you'll get the black with no window.   If the website showed the grey case 2 days ago it might've been if you entered a config number a couple of weeks old.

You can go to Corsair website and order a black side cover with window for about $20 if I recall.

This won't be a big issue for me, a little disappointed though.

I apparently was not aware of the back-order issue with the case (I am newbie and this is my first DS system). I actually liked the original case a lot~

When I hit the add-to-cart button, all images show the grey case with window, maybe they forgot to change the on-line image.

Should I ask for a small discount because of the case? LOL

By the way, I did not use any config number. I clicked on the "select" button directly on the Vanquish 4 level 4 model on the website.

Could be they didn't change it, but not really sure. You can ask about a discount.   Doesn't hurt.

I personally like the black case more than the grey and would get the side window seperatly from Corsair.com. Just me.

True. I guess I just liked the window, color makes no difference to me.

The computer is pre-built so I am not sure if that can happen.
