Hi, I just set up my vanquish and when I turned it on it booted up to the BIOS. I'm pretty tech illiterate, so is this normal? and how do I exit out of the BIOS without breaking anything. Sorry if this is completely obvious lol

As long as you weren't mousing around or typing furiously while in your bios lol, I'd just hit your reset if you see it, or power down and power back up again after a half minute or so. If you boot into Windows, you're good. If you get stuck in the bios again, you'll want to power down and wait a couple of minutes. Then remove the side of the case where you can see all the parts, make sure you touch some metal on the edge of the case to ground yourself, and gently start to go from part to part looking for anything not fully seated. Especially your main hard drive. Hope that gets you going.

Yep, if the SSD main drive with OS on it got unplugged during shipping, the pc will boot to Bios. Check the 2 connectors to the drive.
Or it’s just as DST said. Edited by bprat22 - 17 Jan 2018 at 2:26am |

Those are not the wires he was talking about, did you connect and disconnect them when pc was connected to the wall?
When you say it won't i assume you mean no power if so: Give your psu 20 minutes then try again Edited by DST4ME - 17 Jan 2018 at 3:34am |

I believe I did sadly, though I did flip the power switch off before doing so, but that may not matter. Alright, I'll do that, thank you man. |

Yeah, those aren’t the plugs to SSD. I can’t tell what plugs they are. If the cable go to the front of the case it could be the power on switch isn’t connected properly. The front panel with usb, power on, etc go to the motherboard to plug in.
Unplug the pc and reseat those plugs making sure the pins line up. Check the other connectors while you’re in there. |

Always unplug from the wall and wait till you see no lights/leds on at all then begin work.
Wait the 20 minutes and see if it powers on if not then unplug and do what bp said above. One of those looks like a fan can't make out what the other is Edited by DST4ME - 17 Jan 2018 at 4:14am |

The vast majority of systems from DS arrive with no issues at all. However, sometimes the jolts the box takes during shipping will loosen a plug, etc. or plugging into a different AC supply from what DS uses can effect overclock. Any problems, post here if DS isn't open or is very busy and we'll see if we can help. |

This has nothing to do with your system, he worked in his pc with it in the wall. Also things go wrong at anytime which is why we are here, because DS takes good care of us including the op |
