DST, why do you always recommend ESET over Macafe? Is it because of Macafe's false positives? Does ESET do better with games?

Mcafee's #1 problem is that is a resource hog, if you check eset is running 2 processes in the background, mcafee is running something between 7 to 10 depending.

And after running all those processes you would think it would do a better job, nope, its slower, heavier, has more false positives, and is not as good in detection when compared to other AVs like eset, or avira, and etc.

I made a post about it somewhere here are the results of a comparison done by a third party creditable site:







eset has a game mode you can turn on so it won't mess with games but worst case scenario you are 2 clicks away from disabling the av or the firewall anytime you need.

Avast and bit defender are probably the top choices along kapersky, McAfee is the virus...

Avast and bit defender are ok also but I would get eset before those. All are good
