Yea, but really when it comes to gaming, TN panels are perfectly fine for me. Even for movies. I don't do professional photography to really notice a difference. I enjoy the higher response too in TN.

When you look at the video at 0:13, the specs read:

27-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) monitor with IPS technology for stunningphoto-realistic visuals (powered by AUO)

I'm not thinking the author was correct in asserting that it is a TN monitor.

Well at least it's nice to finally see display port 1.3 being used and this is definitely a step in the right direction. I'm still holding out for a 32" 4K IPS (or better) monitor with response time over 100!!

lol Dax, i think you meant high "refresh" rate.  response time over 100 (ms) would be painfully slow.

Uggh no coffee means dumb statements. Definitely a brain fart there on the refresh rate thingy - lol!!

Ohhh goody about ASUS. Hopefully it will be an IPS or even better an IGZO panel (wishful thinking - lol)!!

I wish AMD was more competitive. I think as a company I like them better than NVIDIA. They definitely try to push technology further but they can't get out of their own way sometimes. NVIDIA seems to be able to fine tune things much better while AMD is on the forefront to some interesting technology.
