wow, power hungry mobo and 3x 5870 .. you're future proof. i wouldn't get the add-on card because of the 5870. 6 gb of ram's enough .. you won't need 12 gb of ram unless you work with intensive 3d programs like 3ds max.

btw, why not pick the 5970? i think it's in stock.

im guessing your using multiple monitors(i hope to god)
get rid of the Killer Xeno card, its useless
since your getting watercooling on everything why not go with a Corsair obsidian case?

After a long discussion with a teamwork friends,  and also after read some other configurations response in this forum from ds, i made a lot of change to my config.

time out, super overkill alert, wasting money with no performance gain alert.

what resolution does your monitor have?

you need a major overhaul on that config, some of the things you have picked won't even work together.

let me know the resolution of your monitor, and if you are going to buy 2 other monitors, then I have two more questions:

1. what is going to be resolution of those monitors.

2. when would you be purchasing those monitors.

let me know the answer to those 3 questions and lets fix that hot mess you got up there

the monitor are a samsun syncmaster 25,5" and i use it normaly at 1920 to 1200 that is  the maximum of it's capability.
The 2 e 3 monitor will be bougth after had the new rig.
All the expenses come in next one or maximum two month,  before feb.
You said that some of the things you have picked won't even work together.i presume you tell about the ati graphics card e the physx card , i chose them becosue heard of a patch to overal the nvidia blocks.

Ya, don't trust those 3rd party patches on expensive hardware.

I'm pretty sure the incompatibility was the Physx card AND the hard drive striping setup. I could be wrong though.
If knowledge is power and power corrupts, then total knowledge corrupts totally.

you have super over kill, what are you needs what games do you play?

1 case haf 932

2 processer 920 no point with 975 with the oc

3 6 gb is all u need 1600 mhz you wont really notice the difference between corsair and mushkin

4 way too much had space! what are your needs? also your raid set will make your velociraptors pointless. all that space = really really long defrang time

5 why do you need wireless on a desktop?

6 figure out what monitor set your getting and give us the res so we cqan give you better options of GPUs and not more then you need. also with ati's eyefinity 1 card can run 6 monitors

7 drop the physx not compatible and never trust 3rd party unless it is a reputable company that is 100% legit

8 change cooling to # of GPUs used

9 with that LC system you don't need the upgraded fans (noisy)

10 unless your video editing and other high end things you wont notice anything past 3.8 for gaming/. if your gaming stage 1

11 with the fans gone you wont really need the sound suppression. it will choke it

12 no need for GPU overclock

13 no need for os boost

14 no need for esa

14 windows 7 pro / ulitimate have xp mode no need for dual boot

1 case haf 932( i don't like it , if in the future i want to pass to a quad sli no possibility.)

2 processer 920 no point with 975 with the oc.

3 6 gb is all u need 1600 mhz you wont really notice the difference between corsair and mushkin (not during game but during some editing and other application, like 3dmax or ome other video editing work? the ram that i chise are in possession of some friends of mine  and alla are realy sutisfided of them, No t same direct knowlwdge of mushkin.)

4 way too much had space! what are your needs? also your raid set will make your velociraptors pointless. all that space = really really long defrang time( also i start think on a raid 0 for two vk300 to use Os, and a separate option for media & storage hd)

5 why do you need wireless on a desktop? (jthe working network is a different one from the personal line that i use, i cant take upstairs the intenet cables of the jobline.)

6 figure out what monitor set your getting and give us the res so we cqan give you better options of GPUs and not more then you need. also with ati's eyefinity 1 card can run 6 monitors (as i wrote before 1920:1200 is the bigger resolution that i can use now, but who can say the price of future monitor drops and make me capable of buy monitors that have better resolution, if i spend a lot i dont want a pc that need videocard upgrade after one year)

7 drop the physx not compatible and never trust 3rd party unless it is a reputable company that is 100% legit( like some said i need physx to some application like 3dmax, reading on forum seem near a ati direct patch in future, if wrong there no solution other than wait to see the Nvidia Fermi and drop the eyeinfinity, in this case no 2 e 3 monitor  but probably a 30" monitor with better resolution of 1920 :1200p)

8 change cooling to # of GPUs used ( my knowledge of english is poor sorry, i dont undertand the option of lc realy well , probably wrong choice no dupt of it hope dsteam chose the rigth one)

9 with that LC system you don't need the upgraded fans (noisy) ( i dont know if some fanse remand in a lc system if remain i want it upgraded red neon)

10 unless your video editing and other high end things you wont notice anything past 3.8 for gaming/. if your gaming stage 1 ( i use some video editor )

11 with the fans gone you wont really need the sound suppression. it will choke it ( like before don't know if some fans remain  if not i drop sound suppression)

12 no need for GPU overclock ( if it's stable oc like ds working  why not have some fre oc now that can make difference in future?)

13 no need for os boost ( just a choice to have  a os starting boosted , never make me unable to start other os backworks after, more work to boost after normal starting))

14 no need for esa( understand, thank)

14 windows 7 pro / ulitimate have xp mode no need for dual boot ( need a dual boot with xp32 so i can use old 32 bit program that dont run on 64 bit os.)

Thanks for a cler list of iusse Raif.

DST4ME's build is very nice and he hit the nail on the head. also he saved you a ton of money. currently the 5970 is the best card out. it will be able to handle 6x of the monitors you chose.

Liquid cooling: pumps, resevoirs, tube ect. it majorly reduces your computer's hardware temperature, much more then then air cooling. the stock fans will still be there as well. also liquid cooling is non conductive (no worries about frying your hardware). it is also much quieter then fans. when you are doing intense gaming or your video editing the greater the demand on the machine the higher your temperature goes. the liquid cools it off and keeps it cool for longer under load. under special instructions ask for a extra bottle of fluid. i asked sarah from DS she said ti was $35, you will need to top the liquid cooling system off every once in a blue moon

if your gonna go quad i am not sure about your motherboard you may need the 4x sli ask DST he will know for sure.

GPU= Graphics card
LC= Liquid cooling

all gtx 2xx cards and ati 58xx cards take 2 pci slots.

the classified and 3x sli mobo are designed for tri sli, the classified can do tri sli and 2 other cards too.

I think you are mistaking taken up 2 pci slots with using 2 pci slots.

OS tweak, is nothing but some services disabled that you might not use, you will see no performance gain from it.
