I clicked on this thread just as "Hurt" by Johnny Cash started. I can't function when that's playing.

Currently have the Neil Young Radio channel. Other than that, my Pandora lists run from Classical to Dubstep, Buckethead to Ambient.... so, everything, basically.

I'm generally one to favor original versions of songs, however, that is one where I think Cash's version is vastly, vastly superior to the Nine Inch Nails original.

My understanding is that Mr. Reznor has commented about that song and has stated that "it's not my song anymore". He, too, was vastly impressed by the emotion conveyed by a simple change of artist.
