Latest word from DS that I'm aware of says Q2 2018... so early summer.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm very curious as to how the Spark holds up to the other PCs. Heck, it could become the next gaming console (if it's cheap enough).

Ahh, I was trying to be optimistic and was hoping for an early April release.

I’m running a 16-year-old Dell Dimension with a single core Pentium 4 and it is so painful to use anymore. Something happened over the past two years, which severely degraded browsing. On most sites, web pages often could take as much as a minute to load.

I have four kids I either am paying their way through college or soon will be. While they get all the fancy stuff, I’ve been suffering with this old Dell, as I struggle to make tuition payments. I am waiting for a decent SFF comes before I move on a new machine. The Spark seems to be a machine I could have for the next 5-10 years.

I find myself turning into Eric Cartman, when he was impatiently waiting for the Nintendo Game Sphere to arrive. Every day, I check for news of the Spark to leak or the web page to be created but not linked from the desktops page. The anticipation is getting to me. Luckily, there isn’t a glacier to freeze myself inside to pass the time.
