Hi, my wifi card in my Avon has recently been disconnecting or becomes unreadable randomly but starts working again if I restart the laptop. Do I have to send the computer in? can I do it myself without voiding the warranty? I would definitely like to get it fixed

I would try installing new drivers for it or uninstall it, reboot and let Windows re install it. Both can be done in Device Manager by right clicking the wifi card.

It could also be the card going to sleep in power management.   In Device Manager, right clicking the card should show a power management option where you can unselect to put it to sleep to save battery life.
