Hi All,

I'm looking to add WD Black 5TB Performance Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 128MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD5001FZWX. I'm looking for some advice if I can support this product with my current configuration with ease or if I should look on upgrading another component?

I currently have a 1tb drive and 500GB SSD.

My current state system:

Processor
Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz (Codename Skylake) (Unlocked CPU) (Quad Core)

Motherboard
ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING (Intel Z170 Chipset) (Up to 5x PCI-E Devices)

System Memory
16GB DDR4 2666MHz Digital Storm Certified Performance Series

Power Supply
1000W Corsair HX1000i (Digitally Controlled Power)

Thank you in advance!

Adding storage will have no effect on your performance, unless games you play from an SSD are moved to an HDD.    But, in general, no, no problem.

Hope that answered it.
