Will upgrading ram mess up the overclock?

I have a ODE V2 that is overclocked by DS. If I replace the 2 4gb ram with a pair of 8gb to give me 16gb will it mess up the overclock they did? I can't fit another 2 sticks in because of the cpu cooler

Hi hawkhero... Changing the 2x4 gb to 2x8gb probably won't impact the oc.   Filling all the slots has more of a chance and was usually what was seen in the past.

you'll probably have to go back into the bios and reset the memory's XMP setting.
