Hello,

Does anyone have the QA checklist for Win10 optimizations that are done to your system should you choose for them to Optimize the OS? Tech Support says there is no list - QA just knows it.

My question is how do you track down something not working if you don't know what they have done?

Thanks,

Bob

If you mean OS Boost, I've been here for years, and that question had come up a lot.   Bottom line, DS doesn't reveal what it does, being an in house procedure, and my suggestion is to forget about that option.   The rig comes in bloat free and I'd much rather make any changes myself, if any at all are needed.

Not to say that it doesn't help but I'd need to see before and afters.   Use the $35 for a game.

Hi Bob,

Well your question emphasizes the simple fact of why you don't want DS to alter your OS. You are much better off to trim things as you go along and find features you don't use. I was always afraid that DS would delete or option something off and then I wouldn't know about it or couldn't find it. I would follow bprat22's advise.

This topic is interesting to me also. I'm about to get my 2nd DS machine (later this week hopefully), and I'll definitely be interested in optimizing the OS for gaming.

Do any of you have recommendations for how I should optimize it?
