Windows 10 Anniversary Update

We all know Windows 10 has its issues. On 9/30/2016 I downloaded the Anniversary update and tried to do 'sfc' through the command prompt window. I received the following message:

You must be an administrator running a console session in order to se the sfc utility. Say what?????


Before the anniversary update I could run the 'sfc' command.

When you have "Command Prompt" up in your start menu, rather than left clicking it, right click it and hit "Run as Administrator" and see if that fixes your issue.

I thought elevated prompt was standing on a ladder while typing.

They changed that after XP, rookie mistake. LOL

Windows 10 has a separate Command prompt(Admin) now.   Right click bottom left search/Windows and select.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was left clicking. Not going to climb a ladder though.
