Hey folks,

Hope all is well, I haven't been around in a while!

I come bearing issues Cry

Since upgrading to Windows 10, I've had numerous issues. Took me a few hours to get both my monitors working consistently after upgrading, and for it to not reset my resolution & recreate the issue on reboot.

However, I can no longer use my headset. I have the Sennheizer Game Zero. When I used to plug the headset/mic jacks into the ports on the top of my Hailstorm,  the Realtek HD Audio interface would pop up, recognize the headset ,and I'd be on my way.

Since upgrading to Windows 10, this no longer works. In fact, only the microphone port on the back of my PC works, but none of the headset ports work. So at this point, I'm stuck using half of a headset, but playing with sound through my speakers. Which wouldn't really be super problematic (albeit frustrating), except for they're noise cancelling; so if I have the headset on so I can utilize the microphone, I can't hear things coming out ofm y speakers Oops

Has anybody else had similar issues / suggestions for solutions?

TL;DR since upgrading to windows 10, PC no longer recognizes hardware plugged into headset port, and only recognizes rear microphone port.

My guess from others having problems is to go to the manufacturer's site for your mobo and see if they have updated drivers for Windows 10, especially the audio driver.    Same for your headphones.

Good luck and let us know.

As always, bprat to the rescue Awesome

I know it should be my first thought, but I always forget about updating drivers. Works like a charm now, headset and mic both from the front ports!
